International Tea Day!

International Tea Day first started in 2005, and is celebrated in tea-producing and tea-drinking countries all around the world.1 Tea is one of the most popular drinks in the world, with over three billion cups drunk every day. But what we probably don't think about is that across the tea estates of Assam, India, workers and their families experience working conditions and labour practices that make them vulnerable to human trafficking. Tata Global Beverages is the world’s second largest tea manufacturer; if they use their influence and step up efforts to prevent trafficking from these tea estates, there is huge potential to end this modern slavery.

Tata Global Beverages would you like to be a leader to end Human Trafficking in Assam, India? Why and why not?

Let me help you to decide. When you were in the foot of those "slave" they treat what will you desire, nothing but to be free from Modern Slavery. To work happily and not forced with too much pain, to receive harm-free treatment and full wage of your sweats in 8 hours per day.

What else could you asked for? Let's end #ModernSlavery  #InternationalTeaDay
